Mold Handling - Pallet Lines
Mold care pallet lines are custom designed to handle squeezer through large cope & drag molds ranging in size from 12”x12” through 36”x48” mold sizes. Pallet cars are sized from 18”x60” to 38”x96”. The pallet line consists of the following units: pallet car loading, pallet line track and return, mold dump station, pallet cars, and line decking. Pallet lines are generally pneumatically operated except for very large mold sizes. Those maybe operated by hydraulics.
Pallet lines offer an efficient semi-automated mold line providing reasonable production rates. Lines are generally about 3’-0” high to the pouring deck area. The pallet cars are automatically returned on the lower track with mold bottom boards.
